Tyree Burnett is a basketball “lifer” and an educator with a comprehensive understanding of human movement and a proven ability to effectively teach and mentor students. With an AA and BS in Kinesiology, and a Master's in Education, he possess a unique blend of academic and practical knowledge. He is committed to fostering a love of learning and helping students reach their full potential. He began playing basketball at 5 years old and has been around the game ever since. He played competitively in high school and college until he was 26, then an injury ended his playing career. He is now 53 and for the past 27 years he has been teaching and coaching basketball. He has been a high school head coach, an AAU head coach and an AAU high school Program Director for Basketball. With over 45 years of experience in the game, Tyree brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the court. A proven leader and mentor, he is dedicated to developing well-rounded student-athletes both on and off the court. Now, Tyree is excited to embark on a new chapter, founding Basketball Performance Institute (BPI) to provide aspiring players with the highest level of training and guidance as they prepare for their collegiate careers. BPI will provide a challenging and rewarding environment where student-athletes can develop their skills, achieve their academic goals, and prepare for a successful future on and off the court.

Coach Patrick boasts an impressive basketball pedigree, having excelled at every level of the game. A former standout at Boynton Beach High School in Florida, he continued his collegiate career at esteemed institutions like Cal Miramar University and Bethesda University. This deep-rooted understanding of the game, honed through years of personal experience, translates into a unique and effective coaching style. 

Patrick's journey as a coach has spanned various renowned organizations, including JW Basketball, Cal Sparks, OC Rain, the Boys & Girls Club, and Tarbut V'Torah. This diverse experience has provided him with invaluable insights into different coaching philosophies and the unique needs of young athletes. 

Having joined the JCC over 4 years ago, Coach Patrick has consistently demonstrated his commitment to player development. He incorporates innovative coaching methods and drills inspired by his collegiate experience, ensuring each session maximizes player potential. He has trained several college players and is now a coach and full-time trainer at the Sports Academy, formally Mamba Sports Academy.

Noriko Latour brings a wealth of experience to the role of Account Manager, specializing in servicing Japanese and American businesses here and abroad. After coming to the United States, she spent years at a leading company handling multi-million-dollar accounts, guiding hundreds of clients through their real estate needs. After that, she spent several years as an Account Manager for several AAU youth basketball programs. With a passion for youth and adolescent sports and a strong background in communication, she focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with families, coaches, and sponsors. Noriko is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive and rewarding experience for all her clients. She possesses a deep understanding of the business culture, and the specific challenges facing non-profit companies operating in the U.S. market. Fluent in both Japanese and English, she excels at building long-term client relationships and delivering customized account management that meet the unique needs of each student athlete.
